Why sing choruses and hymns?

Eph 5:19 – Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Why do we prophesy?

Cor 14:3 – But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

Why are musical instruments used in our worship?

Ps 150:3-5 – Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; praise Him with clashing cymbals!

Why do we sing in tongues and in English?

Cor 14:15 – What is the conclusion then? I will pray in the Spirit and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing in the Spirit and I will also sing with the understanding.

Why unknown tongues and interpretation of tongues?

Cor 12:7-10 – But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: to another the working of miracles, to another prophesy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

Why do we have testimonies?

Rev 12:11 – And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death.

Why we receive tithes and offerings?

Mal 3:10 – Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house and try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.

Deut 16:17 – Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.
